Our client, one of the leading and fast-growing life and health insures across the region, are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Life Claims Assistant Manager to join their dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will assist in managing the life claims process, ensuring timely and accurate claims handling while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Claims Manager in overseeing the life claims department, including daily operations, staff management, and performance metrics.
  • Review and assess life insurance claims for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct investigations into claims as necessary, collaborating with various departments to gather pertinent information.
  • Provide guidance and support to claims team members, facilitating training and development to enhance their skills.
  • Analyze claims data to identify trends, recommend process improvements, and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Handle escalated claims issues and customer inquiries, providing resolutions to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on claims performance and departmental initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulatory changes, and best practices in claims management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in life insurance claims management, with supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of life insurance products, claims processes, and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
