Top-Tier Insurance - Senior Manager/ Manager, Information Security 

Location: Hong Kong 
 

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our client's team as a Senior Manager/Manager in Information Security within the Insurance industry. This role is based in Hong Kong and offers a competitive salary of HKD 1,014,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cyber Security Strategy: Develop, implement, and maintain effective information security policies, standards, and guidelines.

• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage security risks to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Security Operations: Monitor security events, manage incidents, and lead investigations to mitigate cyber threats.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and best practices in information security.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal departments and external partners to enhance security posture and awareness.
• Security Awareness Training: Develop and conduct training programmes to promote security best practices across the organisation.
• Technology Implementation: Evaluate and deploy security tools, technologies, and frameworks to strengthen the organisation’s defence.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 5-8+ years of experience in information security, security risk, or a related area.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management methodologies, and security controls.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local and international security regulations, including ISO 27001, NIST, and other cybersecurity standards.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex security incidents and challenges.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead projects, manage teams, and drive security initiatives across large organisations.
