- The successful candidate will be responsible for developing global benefit strategies and policies aligned with client business objectives.
- This includes benchmarking and designing benefit programmes across APAC, such as medical and risk insurances, employee perquisites, allowances, and expatriate benefits.
- The role involves advising on optimal benefit funding strategies and risk management solutions, designing and implementing leading benefit technology solutions, and leading M&A due diligence and integration projects.
- Additionally, responsibilities include providing benefits data analytics advisory, designing and executing health and wellness strategies, and promoting the firm's global benefits consulting services to the market.
The role requires strong collaboration with global and regional teams to develop business opportunities and leveraging internal capabilities to create differentiated and innovative benefits solutions.
Successful candidates will foster close working relationships within the organisation, including teams across global benefits, health and benefits, human capital, and risk capital. The position also involves strategic account management for key global benefit clients and mentoring junior consulting staff.
Skills and Experience
- The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant discipline and at least 3-5 years of experience in employee benefits.
- Strong employee benefits insurance knowledge is a must, while exposure to pooling or captive arrangements is advantageous, as is regional exposure.
- Effective communication skills are essential for liaising with senior management and multi-cultural stakeholders.
- Multi-country expertise in statutory, market practice, and best practice conditions is required, along with strong stakeholder and project management skills to support cross-border projects.
