The client is a leading independent Fund Services business with offices in multiple jurisdictions globally.
We are actively seeking a new Sales Development Specialist who will be responsible for identifying and facilitating new sales opportunities. The individual will have primary responsibility for running and managing sales campaigns across the full range of fund services solutions.

This role would suit a collaborative, target-driven, structured and ambitious business development executive passionate about winning new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Help generate new business opportunities through a variety of methods, including cold calling, marketing campaigns, industry events and conferences.
- Build a strong pipeline within the Alternative Investment space (e.g. Private Equity, Real Assets, Private & Public Debt, Hedge Funds, Asset Owners).
- Assist in preparing prospect engagement documentation, including discovery calls, on-site and virtual presentations, product demonstrations and follow-up meetings.
- Follow up on all prospect activities in a timely manner with a clear strategy and execution plan.
- Build strong industry relationships with prospects and expand your professional network within the alternative investment space.
- Work with Sales to prepare detailed write-ups on prospects, including a well-defined strategy, tactics and background information.
- Help build the firm’s brand and increase brand awareness to generate quality leads.
- Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and expand business opportunities.
Experience & Competencies
- Pre-Sales / Business Development experience in the financial services technology industry or industry experience from working within financial institutions engaging with C-suite executives.
- Professional fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or a related area is advantageous.
- Ability to make cold calls and engage potential clients effectively.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, including independent client-facing presentations.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach who can establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
- Self-motivated and driven to deliver strong results.
