Job Description
This role is based in Hong Kong within the Insurance industry.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Product Officer to lead product development, pricing, and product proposition within a leading direct insurance organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving innovation, optimising pricing strategies, and enhancing overall product offerings to align with business objectives and market demands.
- Define and execute the product strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and market trends.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and continuous optimisation.
- Lead pricing strategies to maintain competitive positioning while ensuring profitability and sustainability.
- Develop and enhance product propositions to meet evolving customer needs and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, underwriting, and technology to drive product success.
- Leverage data analytics and market insights to inform product decisions and identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and risk management frameworks.
- Drive innovation and digital transformation to enhance product offerings and improve customer experience.
- Establish key performance metrics to assess product success and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the product management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior product leadership role within the insurance industry, preferably in a direct insurance environment.
- Strong background in pricing strategies, product proposition, and product development.
- Expertise in data-driven decision-making and market analysis.
- Track record of successfully launching and managing insurance products in dynamic markets.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with a collaborative approach.
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements within the insurance sector.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to drive innovation and adapt to changing customer behaviour and market conditions.
