Job Responsibilities:
- Governance and Framework Development: establish and maintain a governance framework for business continuity processes. Develop, document, and regularly update business continuity plans and procedures to ensure organizational resilience.
- Incident Management: assist the incident management process by coordinating response efforts during disruptions (e.g., natural disasters, cyber incidents). Conduct post-incident reviews to evaluate response effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Risk Assessment and Resource Analysis: conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential impacts on business operations. Collaborate with various departments to analyze resources and ensure they align with business continuity objectives.
- Proactive Improvement Initiatives: identify opportunities for process improvements and best practices in business continuity management.
- Documentation and Reporting: maintain comprehensive documentation of all business continuity plans, procedures, and incident reports.
- Continuous Learning and Development: engage in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge of business continuity best practices and related fields.
Desired Attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in operations or incident management or related project work.
- Familiarity with governance and process framework is highly advantageous.
- Mature, independent, self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in written and spoken English, other languages is plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
