Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing strategies for talent development within agency channels.
- Leading the functions such as Distribution Training and Development
- Collaborating closely with the Distribution Leadership Team to manage agency operations, drive initiatives, and ensure sustainable growth.
- Overseeing Distribution Training and Development to create strategies that meet various business targets.
- Enhancing the efficiency of agency channels, set standards for capability and performance, and uphold professional ethics within the sales force.
- Providing insights into the broader distribution strategy
- Advocating for talent development within the Distribution Leadership Team.
- Designing innovative training programs for onboarding and developing agency and partnership teams.
- Managing e-learning and onboarding platforms to create an integrated recruitment experience.
- Initiating programs for Brighter Academy aimed at boosting productivity.
- Developing product training initiatives and represent the agency in product development discussions.
- Building and maintaining a high-performing team, focusing on capability development and succession planning within Distribution Talent Development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in the insurance industries
- Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
- FLMI designation is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to motivate distribution members and agency heads to achieve goals.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills.
- Effective team leader with a creative mindset.
- Ability to engage and retain key team members while gaining the support of the agency force.
- Comprehensive understanding of agency operations and systems that drive desired behaviors.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Comfortable with challenges and able to work effectively under pressure.
- Proficient in English and Chinese, with fluency in Mandarin considered an advantage.
