Our client is a reputable corporate bank in the industry. They are currently seeking for a Compliance Manager to join their compliance team. This person will be taking care of all rounded general compliance/regulatory compliance duties. This position will offer an all rounded compliance exposure allowing you to deep dive into different topics of compliance. The bank is known for its stability and harmonious working culture.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all-rounded general and regulatory compliance matters within the organization
- Act as the primary point of contact and liaison with HKMA on compliance-related inquiries
- Ensure the compliance framework is robust, up-to-date, and aligned with regulatory standards
- Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and controls
- Conduct regular compliance assessments and audits to identify and address any gaps
- Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance matters
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of solid compliance experience coming from corporate banks
- In-depth knowledge of HKMA regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Fluency in written and verbal Chinese and English is a MUST
