Overview

Our client is a top-tier Chinese investment bank with a well-established business in Hong Kong. They are looking for a Technical Support Analyst to join their IT helpdesk team. You will be responsible for providing support to internal staff for technical issues related to various hardware, software and trading applications.

Job duties

  • Provide L1/L2 support to internal users for incident resolutions and user enquiries related to software and hardware
  • Communicate with internal staff through phone calls, live chats, emails and ticketing system to follow up and update users on IT related issues
  • Troubleshoot the hardware and software in PCs, networking equipment
  • Keep track of hardware inventory and hardware rental tracking
  • Escalate complex and unresolved technical issues to L2/L3 helpdesk teams
  • Record all actions and user status into the ticketing system
  • Work in shifts to support users based across the APAC region

Job requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in IT Support roles in the financial services sector, preferably in banking or insurance firms
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems and troubleshooting hardware and software such as Microsoft Windows configuration, Desktop Administration, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory etc
  • Good customer service and telephonic skills with the ability to listen and understand customers' needs effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a must
  • Immediately available candidates are highly preferred
