Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential clients seeking cargo insurance coverage.
- Develop and nurture a robust network of contacts in the shipping, logistics, and transportation sectors.
- Keep accurate records of client interactions, insurance policies, and sales activities within a CRM system.
- Achieve or surpass sales targets and revenue objectives set by the company.
- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company's offerings and broaden the client base.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably as an insurance broker.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a history of exceeding targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
- Capability to cultivate and maintain enduring customer relationships.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales tools.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized, with strong time management capabilities.
- Familiarity with shipping, logistics, and transportation processes is a plus.
- Valid insurance broker license or a willingness to obtain one.
- Professional certifications, such as IIQE, are advantageous.
