My Client a widely known Global Hedge Fund is looking for a experienced DevOps Engineer to join their team to execute quality DevOps practices. Maintaining, improving and automating their existing tools and pipelines but also to implement and design new ones.
Your Role
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable pipeline.
- Build and maintain highly available systems.
- Improve and establish DevOps methodologies.
- Oversee deployment of new software releases, updates and patches. Working on the full development life cycle.
- Support and work closely with teams such as QA, Dev, DB, Cloud and operations to provide technical support. Troubleshooting issues related to development, deployment and operations.
Essential Requirements
- 3+ years of experience
- Hands on experience working as a DevOps Engineer, working with DevOps tool chains - Jira, Bamboo, Kubernetes just to name a few.
- Experience and knowledge with Python, able to read and write for day to day usage
- Experience with CI/CD. Tool and framework design, implementation, and automation experience.
Nice to have
- Experience working in financial services especially in a hedge fund
- At least experience with shell scripting if no Python experience
