Our top-tier client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Exchange Connectivity C++ Developer to join a leading team within the finance industry. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in low-latency systems, exchange connectivity protocols, and real-time trading technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize high-performance exchange connectivity solutions in a dynamic trading environment.
  • Collaborate closely with traders, quants, and infrastructure teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and speed of the trading system.
  • Write robust and maintainable code to enhance system performance.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Extensive professional experience in C++ programming (C++14/17/20), with a focus on low-latency performance tuning, multithreading, and network programming.
  • Solid understanding of financial trading protocols such as FIX, OUCH, or ITCH, along with direct market access and exchange APIs.
  • Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing market data handlers and order routing systems.

Skills and Experience:

  • At least seven years of experience in the financial sector, preferably in high-frequency or proprietary trading environments.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field from a recognized university.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving performance and stability issues in production environments.
  • Thorough understanding of software development lifecycles, agile methodologies, and version control systems such as Git.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems and scripting languages such as Python or Bash is a strong advantage.
