The Job
* Monitor the network infrastructure and identify and troubleshoot network issues.
* Implement solutions to resolve/mitigate network issues.
* Provide 2nd-tier technical support for network-related issues.
* Collaborate with 1st-tier technical support for issue escalation.
* Engage and develop positive relationships with customers and partners.
* Document updates on network configurations, inventory, changes, and procedures.
* Respond to network-related emergencies.
* Willingness to work on non-office hours due to customer change needs to be performed at mid-night.
The Person
* Higher diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* CCNP/HCIP or equivalent prefer to have CCIE/HCIE
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a network engineer or equivalent.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience at supervisor level
* Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
* Hands-on experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
* Familiarity with network hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to solve the network or security issue independently.
