Our client, a fast growing digital assets manager, provides an all round platform for their client to fulfil and tailor-made solutions (Trading, Asset Management, Custodian, Prime Brokerage etc.) to their clients.
They are now seeking for a professional Trade Operations / Trade Support Specialist to join the expanding team. You will be directly working with the Head of Operations to support the business, trading order, settlement, reconciliation etc in accurate & timely manner in order to drive success and support the expanding business, client base.
Candidate with strong Crypto background / knowledge is highly preferred. Candidate without Crypto experience will also be considered. Responsibilities:
Trade Settlement and Reconciliation:
- Ensure prompt and accurate processing of trade settlements.
- Conduct regular reconciliations to identify and resolve any trade discrepancies.
- Collaborate with trading teams and counterparties to address settlement issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain meticulous records of trade settlements and associated documentation.
Account Management:
- Assist in the establishment and upkeep of client accounts.
- Maintain accurate and current client information within the system.
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to address any account-related inquiries or concerns.
- Generate necessary reports and statements for client accounts.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Manage and update documentation related to back-office operations.
- Support periodic reviews and audits to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Assist in internal and external audits related to back-office operations.
Correspondence and Communication:
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications pertaining to back-office operations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and requests.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external counterparts to address operational queries and resolve issues.
- Maintain effective communication channels to facilitate smooth information flow.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for enhancing processes and improving efficiency.
- Collaborate with the operations team to implement and streamline operational workflows.
- Provide suggestions for system enhancements or automation to optimize back-office operations.
Requirements:
- Hold a bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrate proven experience in back-office operations within the crypto trading or financial industry.
- Possess a strong understanding of the crypto exchange landscape, including platforms, order types, and trade settlement processes.
- Exhibit excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail and accuracy when performing operational tasks.
- Thrive in high-pressure environments and meet tight deadlines effectively.
- Possess proficiency in relevant software and tools used for trade settlement and documentation management.
- Display knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the crypto or financial industry.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English and proficient in Mandarin.
