Treasury Settlement - Officer / Senior Officer

Responsibilities:

• Support the Section Chief in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for processing transactions and overseeing the team's daily operations.
• Handle treasury settlement operations, including FX/MM, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Interbank Fund Transfer, as well as Remittance and SWIFT activities.
• Ensure smooth and efficient operations, settling deals promptly and accurately while adhering to AML/CFT measures.
• Monitor treasury deals to ensure compliance with reporting requirements for OTC Derivative transactions set by HKMA.
• Participate in system development projects, contributing to activities such as user requirement collection, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system migration, and deployment.
• Identify and pursue technology initiatives to streamline and automate manual processes, reducing the workload associated with various activities.

Requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Possess at least 4 years of experience in supervising settlement operations related to investment and treasury products, Remittance, and SWIFT.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Proficient in identifying and managing daily operational risks.
• Familiarity with SWIFT Alliance and CMT systems.
• Willingness to work overtime and under pressure when necessary.
• Have a good command of both spoken and written English.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
