Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive KYC reviews and due diligence on new and existing clients to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Perform thorough analysis of client documentation, including identification documents, financial statements, and legal agreements, to verify the authenticity and accuracy of information.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring all required documentation is collected, reviewed, and recorded accurately.
- Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers and other internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and address any KYC-related queries or issues.
- Conduct periodic reviews of client profiles to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. * Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and industry best practices in KYC and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) to ensure compliance and provide guidance to the team.
- Escalate any potential risk or suspicious activities identified during the KYC process to the appropriate internal departments for further investigation.
- Ensure all client information and documentation are accurately maintained in the bank's systems and databases. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the KYC and account opening processes.
Qualifications:
- 3 years+ of experience in KYC and client onboarding within private banking
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices related to KYC and AML in the private banking sector. Familiarity with relevant regulatory bodies and international standards such as FATCA, CRS, and AML regulations.
- Fluency in Chinese and English
